Hail happy Humoristian hooligans!

Helloooooooo Humoristians!

rather serious when I suggest that someone should plant a few whoopee cushions
in the United Nations.”  ~Ron Dentinger

  1. Hi: This seems to work. I don’t know how a conversation works in this though. Can we talk back and forth about stuff? Or is it all blog entries and comments?

    • Whoah. You’re here! I really hope we can talk back and forth about stuff. I don’t think I so much want to do a monologue here…
I’m going to click on “approve and reply” and see what happens…

      • This is cool, you can choose which comment to respond to! That is exactly what Jamie wanted to be able to do … This was a great idea! If you can just get everyone on here …

We’re off for a few days, so I guess we won’t be here for the beginning of the experiment. This seems like a really good idea though, Chickie!

      • This is cool … although now I’m responding to your “I think this is going to worK” and it is hard to tell where it will end up … I AM still here, although just barely. Going to bed … Hope you are feeling better! xo

(Oh, also, first time I posted as Kathi Petersen and now it automatically says I’m Willow Carver …)

    • Hello Princess KP!
I thought I replied, but it didn’t seem to come up.
Let’s try it again, shall we?
I am now going to click on the reply button…

  2. What ever you do, wingoov, for gawd’s sake DON’T CLICK ON THE REPLY BUTTON!!

    Becuz…Well, becuz…

Jeez…now that I’m a real, genyoowine published author feller, I got the friggin’ writer’s block…

    Sheeesh!

    • And how do you feel about being a real genyoowine published author feller?
Man, I really, really hope you’re okay with it all – with the celebrity, the fame, the glory, the women throwing themselves at you, the money and stuff…

    • Emily!!! Ohmygosh!!! How absolutely wonderful to see you again, dear friend and former almost-fiancee (if that little problem with our heterosexuality and my happy marriage hadn’t gotten in the way, we’d have made a fabulous couple!!!).

  3. This has been a surprisingly tough process! I can’t see anyone’s anything at this point. Somebody had already grabbed on to my favorite aliases, so I had to go obscure. Fortunately, wordpress let me change it.

Does anyone know why wordpress always says “Shalom” when I log in?

    Rant over.

    Hi, everyone!!

    • Rachel, I know!
It took me, like, days (well, okay, hours) to figure out just how to get into this thing. And then another couple hours (well, okay, like 15 minutes) to figure out how to reply. For anyone who hasn’t figured it out, yet, run your cursor over the bottom of the posts, and “reply” will appear like magic…

And it’s so good to see you hear, RRR!
      Karen

      • Good to be here, Karen!

BTW, I have “Reply” on the bottom of all the posts.

    • Hahhahhaar! Well, hello, A. Hape! How excellent to see you’ve found your way into the Humoristian temple… Welcome! Make yourself at home! Here, have a seat in our comfy chair… 🙂

  4. Hey Karen!

Will try to find time to check in here from time to time.
    Happy Humoristianity to all.

    • J.!! You found us!!! Yes, please do stop by now and then – the Humoristian temple doors are always open to those with a sense of humor and an open heart – to those weary wanderers, hungering and thirsting for a good laugh. It’s so very good to see you here, my friend.

  5. A large measure of inanity
    A pinch of harmless insanity
    A sprinkling of writers’ vanity
(you can bring your favorite manatee)
    All hail Humoristianity!

    “““““““““““““““““
challenge: come up with a worse rhyme 😉

    • I think I can do worse! 🙂

      There once was a humoristian
who was silly and irreverent and itchin’
to bring the stodgy to grins
and show the pompous who wins
and get big business to stop its bitc…

      • Hahahaha…..Nah, yurs is much more better… in fact, I quite like it!

  6. There one was a ‘ristchian name Westwind…

Hmm…I’ll think about this one…we need something that captures the wit, the intelligence, the epic genius-ness of you…

    I shall return. 🙂

    • There once was a ‘ristian named Paba…

nah, all I can think of is ‘casaba’.

There once was a ‘ristian named Wingoov…

      Karen, Karen, bo-barin’
      Banana fana fo-farin’
      Fee fi mo-marin’
      Karen

Oops,,, my train of thought just derailed.

      • There once was a Humoristian named J
t’was shiny and bright as a sunny day
with a good nature and a sharp wit
        Our J was no twit
So let’s follow hir example, I say

  8. Sorry about the double post — I tried to delete the first one so I could make a spelling correction — but the first one didn’t go away like it should have.

  9. for Karen:

    There is a Humoristian co-founder
with words she is certainly no flounder
    Encouraging and kind
    with a quirky bright mind
She spreads humor and love all around her
